FOUNDER
Amal El Founti, PhD
Founder · Language Specialist · Researcher
AEF was founded by Amal El Founti, whose work combines nearly two decades of professional language practice with academic research on international relations.
She holds a PhD in Anglophone Studies from the University of Picardie Jules Verne (France). Her doctoral thesis, Les relations anglo-marocaines depuis 2010 : redéfinition et redéploiement de l’influence britannique sur la rive sud de la Méditerranée, was completed under the supervision of Professor Mélanie Torrent and defended in October 2025. She also holds a Master's degree in European and International Studies and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Foreign Languages (English and Spanish), both from Sorbonne Nouvelle University – Paris 3.
Since 2006, she has worked as a professional translator across specialised and institutional fields, developing expertise in pharmaceuticals and healthcare, international development, law and regulation, finance, industry, public institutions and culture.
